KEA had issued press release on 03-12-2015 stating that CET-2016 will be conducted on 01-05-2016 and 02-05-2016. On 07-12-2015, CBSE has published that it will conduct AIPMT entrance test on 01-05-2016 which happens to be the same day as fixed by KEA. As many students from Karnataka state are also appearing for AIPMT entrance examination, it may cause inconvenience to large number of students who are taking both AIPMT and State CET examination. Eligibility criteria for Engineering and Architecture are as follows: The following shall be the eligibility criteria for Engineering and Architecture courses. Engineering: a) The qualifying examinations prescribed for admission for B.E. / B. Arch is second PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination recognized by State / Central Government; the last two years of study shall comprise of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with English as a compulsory subject. b) The General Merit candidates should have passed with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% in respect of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) and should have passed these subjects individually. COMEDK UGET – 2016 Entrance Examination will be conducted on Sunday the 8th May 2016 for admission to UG Medical, Dental and Engineering Courses in COMEDK member institutions.
