Class XII performance based eligibility criterion for admission to IITs and ISM



Candidates should satisfy either one of these two criteria:

(i)  Be within the top 20 percentile of their respective category / Class XII board OR

(ii)  Must have 75% [GEN, OBC-NCL] or 70% [SC, ST, PwD] aggregate marks

For computing cut-offs for (i), considered only those candidates whose result status is 'P' [=pass] and have physics, chemistry, mathematics and at least one language.

Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (evaluated out of 300, 400, 500; 99% evaluated out of 500; these are taken for calculating cut-offs)
