COMEDK has invited the applications for admissions to Bacholer of Architecture course , so candidates who are eligible can apply online .

Instructions for Filling the Online Application Form for Admissions to B. Arch (Architecture) Course 
Applications are invited for admission to B. Arch course from candidates who fulfill the following conditions:
1.  A pass in II PUC or 12th standard or equivalent examination with mathematics as one of the subjects of study and having obtained a minimum of 50% in aggregate for General Merit Candidates and 45% in case of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka.
OR 
2.  A pass in 10+3 diploma recognised by Central / State Government & having obtained 50% in aggregate for General Merit Candidates and 45% in case of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka. 
AND
3.  A minimum score of 80 out of 200 for all categories of candidates in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture. There is no relaxation in the minimum passing score of NATA to any category of candidates.
  • Last date to fill in online Application form is 22/06/2015 (i.e. Monday).
  • Last date to receive the filled in application form along with all the enclosures is 22/06/2015.
  • The Rank list will be prepared based on the valid NATA score and marks secured in the qualifying examination in the ratio of 50:50.
  • The Rank List for B. Arch will be published on 27/06/2015 (i.e. Saturday).
  • Details of the Centralised single window counseling for eligible candidates will be notified in due course.
  • Candidates are advised to go through the instructions carefully before filling up the Online Application Form.
General Instructions to Candidates:
  • Ensure that the online application form is filled up properly and completely.
  • After you have filled in your Online application form, click on the submit button only once to send the details to the server. The server will assign you an application number, and provide the facility to view and print your online application form with the details you have filled, along with the application number.
  • Only then take a printout of the online application form and online Date of Birth Certificate / Identity Proof(Candidate Copy and COMEDK Copy).
  • The completed application form must have the signature of the Candidate, left hand forefinger impression and candidate's parent/guardian's signature.
  • Kindly do not send any original documents along with the application form.
  • Kindly stick your recent and similar (not older than six months) passport size colour photograph in the space provided. Application with smudged/tampered or hazy photograph will not be accepted. Do not staple or pin the photograph on the application form. Do not Sign and no attestation is required on the photograph pasted on the application form.
  • Incomplete / incorrect applications are liable to be rejected without prior intimation to the candidate's.
  • Any application received after the last date is liable to be rejected.
Please send the following along with the completed Online Application Form:
  • Enclose a Non-refundable Demand Draft (DD) drawn from nationalized bank as listed in Annexure-I (available in COMEDK website under UGET-2015) in favour “COMEDK” payable at Bangalore for Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand Only)
    Note:Please check for the Banker’s signature on the Demand Draft before sending it to COMEDK. Mention your name and application number on the back of demand draft. (Demand Draft NOT payable at Bangalore will not be accepted and the respective application will be rejected)
  • Online COMEDK Copy of the Date of Birth Certificate / Identity Proof (Once you submit your Online Application Form, you will also have a provision to print a format of this form, which must be attested by the Gazetted Officer or Head of the Institution where he/she last studied). The candidate copy of the Date of Birth Certificate / Identity Proof must be retained with the candidate.
  • An attested photocopy of NATA Score Card.
  • Attested photocopy of qualifying examination (i.e. 10+2 or II PUC or Diploma) Marks Card(s).
Candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC of Karnataka would be considered, provided they furnish the Photocopy of the following Certificates:
a) SC / ST : Caste Certificate issued by competent authority (Authorized to issue such a certificate but not below the rank of a Tahsildar)
b) OBC: Category I, IIA, IIB, IIIA and IIIB: As notified by the Karnataka Govt. Caste and Income Certificate issued by Tahsildar or higher revenue jurisdictional authority authorized to issue such a certificate.
Note: The candidates who have claimed Hyderabad Karnataka status should produce a valid certificate at the time of Counseling. If the certificates are not produced or not valid then such of these candidates will not be entitled to select a seat under the reservation claimed.
  • The completed Application Form should reach the COMEDK office on or before Monday the 22nd June 2015 (by 5:00 PM) either by speed post or courier to the below mentioned address:

    Note: Applications will not be received in person either in the COMEDK office or by any member institutions.
  • COMEDK is not responsible for any errors the candidates make while filling up the Application Form.
  • COMEDK is not responsible for any loss or damage which might occur during Postal or Courier delivery.
  • Application Fee once remitted will not be refunded.
  • Candidates are cautioned to fill up the online application form carefully as the request for change in any application data entered and submitted to COMEDK office will not be entertained.
Note: Candidates please note the Demand Draft being collected along with the online application form is towards meeting the expenses for conduct of the counseling and other incidental expenses.

Explanation of the fields that needs to be filled up in the application form

1. Name of the Candidate:
Enter your full Name (as it appears in your SSLC/10th Std Marks Card), your name should not exceed 40 characters including the blank spaces.

2. Date of Birth:
Provide your date of birth in DD/MM/YYYY format only as in SSLC/10 std Marks card.
For e.g.: If your date of birth is 3rd September 1991, fill as 03/09/1991. 

3. Unique Photo ID Proof:
Select any one of the below listed valid Photo ID proofs available in original and keep it ready before filling the Application. The same Photo ID Proof must be produced in original during the Counseling and admission at college level repeat the same Photo ID Proof must be produced in original during the Counseling and admission at the college level.
1) Voter ID, 2) Passport, 3) PAN Card, 4) Driving License, 5) Aadhar Card / Acknowledgement of Aadhar and 6) School / College Photo ID.
Note:
  • If Option 1/ Option 2/ Option 3/ Option 4/ Option 5 is selected you must carry the below mentioned document during counseling and admission at the college level:

  • a) Selected or opted identity proof in original.
  • If Option 6, i.e. “School/ College Photo ID” is selected you must carry the below mentioned documents during counseling and admission at the college level:

  • a) Selected or opted identity proof in original.
    b) Photocopy of the same (School/ College Photo ID) attested by the principal of the institution last studied (2nd PUC/12th STD).
    c) Photo copy of the application in physical format sent to COMEDK. 
4. Photo ID Proof Number:
Enter the identity proof number as it appears correctly and exactly. Example: If you have declared ID proof as driving license and your ID proof number is ‘KA01 20110001212’ enter the ID number as ‘KA0120110001212’
Note:
  • Do not make mistake in the above mentioned fields (i.e. 3 & 4) as details will be verified at the Centralized Counseling.
CAUTION: ANY ID PROOF OTHER THAN WHAT HAS BEEN DECLARED IN THE APPLICATION FORM WILL NOT BE ACCEPTABLE FOR THE COUNSELING.
 

5. Gender:
Select the appropriate option.

6. Nationality:
Select your nationality. 

7. Father’s Name:
Enter Father’s name. 

8. Mother’s Name:
Enter Mother’s name. 

9. Guardian’s Name:
Enter Guardian’s name. 

10. Parent's or Guardian’s Photo ID Proof:
Select any one of the below listed valid Photo ID proofs available in original of the parent / Guardian, a) Voter ID, b) Passport, c) PAN Card, d) Driving License, e) Aadhar Card / Acknowledgement of Aadhar. 

11. Parent's / Guardian’s ID Proof Number:
Enter the Identity proof number as it appears.

12. Belongs to:
Select the type of Domicile Karnataka / Non-Karnataka.

By Birth/Domicile
If Karnataka, Select type of Domicile i.e. By Birth / By Domicile.

If you do not fall into the above two categories please select Non-Karnataka.

13. Category:
Select the Category you belong to GM / SC / ST / OBC (SC, ST and OBC applicable to Karnataka origin candidate/s only as per Government of Karnataka (GOK) rules.)

If OBC
If OBC, Select CAT 1, CAT 2A, CAT 2B, CAT 3A and CAT 3B. (Applicable to Karnataka origin candidate/s only as per Government of Karnataka (GOK) rules.)

14. Belongs to Hyderabad - Karnataka Region:
Select appropriate option (Yes or No)

15. Name of the District in the Hyderabad - Karnataka Region:
Select: Gulbarga/ Yadgir/ Raichur / Koppal/ Bidar/ Bellary.
Note: A certificate, confirming the Hyderabad Karnataka region status, issued by the jurisdictional Assistant commissioner of the corresponding district as required is to be submitted at the time of Counseling. (The certificate must be in the name of the candidate only). 

16. Address:
Provide your address for communication. All formal communications from COMEDK will be sent to the address given by the candidate only. Please use blank spaces to separate words. Do not mention your city, state and pin code in the address field.

17. City:
Select the City from the list. If you are from any other City that is not listed, select "Others" in the list and fill in your city name in the space provided. 

18. State:
Select the State from the list provided.

19. PIN Code:
Fill up with the appropriate 6-digit PIN code.

20. Demand Draft Details:
DD No.: Enter the six-digit DD number drawn from nationalized bank.
DD Date: Select the DD Date in DD/MM/YYYY format only.
Drawee Bank: Select the drawee bank from the list. (Only Nationalized Banks) as mentioned in Annexure-I of the COMEDK Website under UGET-2015 details. 
21. Name of the Institution Last Studied:
Enter the name of the institution you have last Studied in the space provided (2nd PUC / 12th Standard / Diploma).

22. Place of the Institution:
Enter the Place of the institution last Studied in the space provided.

23. Name of the Qualifying Examination:
Enter the Qualifying Examination in the space provided (12th Std or 2nd PUC or Diploma).

24. Year of Passing:
Select the year of Passing (i.e. 12 Std or 2nd PUC or Diploma).

25. Aggregate Marks in the Qualifying Examination:
Enter the aggregate marks scored in 2nd PUC / 12th Standard / Diploma Examination in the space provided.

26. NATA Score:
Enter the NATA Score in the space provided.

27. Mathematics Marks:
Enter Mathematics marks scored in 2nd PUC / 12th Standard / Diploma Examination in the space provided.

28. Phone No.:
Enter your Phone number with the relevant STD Code, use zero prefixed to the STD code and do not leave any blank spaces between the STD code and your telephone number. 

29. Mobile No.: (if you have)
Enter your Mobile number.

30. Email-Id:
Enter your Email ID for speedy correspondence. 

Declaration:
The candidate and the candidate's parent/guardian must both sign the declaration in the spaces provided for the same in the online application form. The Date and Place must also be filled up in the online application form. It is mandatory for the candidate to affix his/her Left hand forefinger Impression on the Online Application Form. 

Any application form without the signatures of the candidate, left hand forefinger Impression of the Candidate and the Signature of the parent/guardian is liable to be rejected, without any further correspondence.
