REVISED EXAMINATION DATE FOR COMEDK UGET – 2017 FOR ENGINEERING COURSES

COMEDK in its Notification dtd. 21.12.2016 had prescribed certain set of eligibility criteria and announced 7th May 2017 as the date for conduct of Under Graduate Entrance Test 2017 for Engineering courses.

Subsequently, the CBSE has issued a Notification in which it has informed that the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) – 2017 [NEET (UG)- 2017] for Medical and Dental courses will be conducted on the same day i.e. 07.05.2017.

In view of the NEET 2017 being conducted on the same date as UGET 2017 and the fact that many students are expected to appear for the NEET 2017, it was decided to postpone the UGET 2017 for Engineering courses by one week to facilitate the students to take both the exams.

Accordingly, the UGET 2017 for Engineering courses will now be held on Sunday the 14th May 2017. Eligibility criteria notified earlier will remain unchanged.

Aspiring candidates are requested to note the change in date of examination and are also advised to check the website (www.comedk.org) for all the updates
