IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS • Candidates MUST carry a printed copy of the downloaded admit card and their original and valid photo identity card (any one of Aadhaar, School ID, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, PAN Card) for the examination. Only candidates having a valid admit card and photo identity card will be allowed to write the examination. • The candidate’s identity will be verified by invigilators as well as IIT representatives. If the identity of the candidate is in doubt, the candidate may not be allowed to appear in the examination. However, the authorities at their discretion may provisionally permit the candidate to appear in the examination after completing certain formalities. No extra time will be allowed for completing the examination in lieu of the time taken for completing these formalities. QUESTION PAPERS • JEE (Advanced) 2020 will consist of two question papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2 of three hours duration each. Both papers are compulsory. • Each question paper will consist of three separate sections, viz., Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The syllabi are given in Annexure-I: SYLLABI. • The question papers will consist of questions designed to test comprehension, reasoning and analytical ability of candidates. • Negative marks may be awarded for incorrect answers for some of the questions. Details of the marking scheme will be provided in the “Instructions to Candidates” section at the time of examination. • The candidates must carefully read and adhere to the detailed instructions given in the question papers available at the time of examination. • The question papers will be in English and Hindi languages. Rescheduling of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) (UG)-2020 from 03.05.2020 (Sunday) to 26.07.2020 (Sunday) from 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM.

PUBLIC NOTICE Dated: 22.05.2020 Subject: Rescheduling of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) (UG)-2020 from 03.05.2020 (Sunday) to 26.07.2020 (Sunday) from 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) (UG)-2020 which was to be conducted on 03.05.2020 (Sunday) had to be postponed due to the extraordinary circumstances arising from COVID-19 pandemic. A Public Notice dated 27.03.2020 was issued in this regard. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has now decided that the rescheduled National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) (UG)-2020 will be held on 26.07.2020 (Sunday) from 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM. The dates of downloading of Admit Cards indicating Roll Number and Centre of Examination will be displayed 15 days before the conduct of examination on the official websites of NTA (www.nta.ac.in) and NEET (UG) -2020 ( ntaneet.nic.in ). For admission to a participating institute, please see the reservations applicable in that particular institute. In case of institutes run by Central Government,10% of the seats are reserved for Category General-Economically Weaker Section(GEN-EWS), 15% of the seats are reserved for the category Scheduled Caste (SC), 7.5% for the category Scheduled Tribe (ST) and 27% for the category Other Backward Classes belonging to the “ Non Creamy layer” (OBC-NCL).
