COMEDK Information:
·        Candidates must have passed 10+2 or 2nd PUC from any recognized university or Board in  the country
·    Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Math’s and obtained a minimum  aggregate score of 45%. (40% for SC/ST)
·      Physics and Math’s should be the compulsory subjects along with any one of the following  optional subjects- Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology
·          Candidates must have also studied English as a subject in the qualifying exam
·          Candidates who have competed 10+3 Diploma from a recognized university with a minimum  of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) are also eligible to apply.


·    Candidates will be tested in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry with 180 questions (60 questions each)
·         Duration  of the exam will be 3 hours
·         Candidates have to mark their answers on an OMR sheet
 Marking:
·         Each correct answer will fetch one mark.
·         There will be no negative marking.
·         In case the candidate gives two answers to the same question, it will be considered as wrong.
·     If there is a tie in the score, the board will consider the number of wrong and unattended answers to come to the final conclusion.


·         Test Date: May 11, 2014.
·         Result: May 30,  2014.

About CET Counseling:

What is new in this year CET counseling?
·               According to the provisions of Article 371(J) of the Constitution, Hyderabad-Karnataka students will get reservation for admission to professional colleges
·       Hyderabad-Karnataka reservation will also be considered for allotment of seats. The eligibility for Hyderabad Karnataka reservation will be published before the commencement of the document verification process.
·         B-Pharma and Pharma-D  courses
·         From this year students taking up CET-2014 examination will also be eligible for admission to 1st year          Degree to B-Pharma and pharma-D and 2nd year B-Pharma (Lateral Entry) Courses.
·         The Government in its Order No. SWD 192 BCA 2013, Bangalore Dated 04-09-2013, has enhanced the  annual income limit from 3.50 Lakhs to 4.5 Lakhs per annum for claiming reservation benefit.  The              candidate and his/her father’s – mother’s whose Gross Annual Income is below 4-50 Lakhs
  are eligible to claim benefit of reservation under 2A,2B,3A and 3B categories.
