BSC AGRICULTURE Raichur



The Admission process for the Under-graduate degree programmes for the academic year 2015-’16 of University of Agricultural Sciences, Raichur namely B.Sc.,(Agri.) and B.Tech.(Agril. Engg.)-(Annexure-1), will be conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) through Common Entrance Test (CET). The candidates who desire to get admission to these courses have to compulsorily attend CET and admission will be done only through KEA. There is no separate admission process by the University. The fees structure for first semester is indicated in Annexure-2.

40% of the seats are reserved for the children of the agriculturist families. However, those candidates who claim seats under Agricultural Quota for any of the degree programmes of any 6 Farm Universities of Karnataka have to appear for Agricultural Practical Test on 16.05.2015 scheduled to be conducted in any of the 14 centers notified by the KEA as listed in Annexure-3. Those who appear for Practical Test at University of Agricultural Sciences, Raichur centre (Raichur & Yadagiri District) should Produce Demand Draft in favour of “The Comptroller, UAS, Raichur of R 500/- for General & OBC and

R 250/- for SC/ST & Cat-I candidates.

The candidates who are appearing for Practical Test are informed to get their certificates verified from 4th May 2015 to 12th May 2015 during working hours (8.00 a.m. to 1.30.p.m) at the Practical Exam centre listed in Annexure-3. On the day of Practical Exam the candidates have to produce the verification certificate issued by the university.

CENTRES AND CODE NUMBER FOR CONDUCTING PRACTICAL TEST FOR THE CANDIDATES SEEKING ADMISSION UNDER AGRICULTURIST QUOTA

INSTRUCTIONS  :

1.  Practical Test Fees: Rs.500/- for General and OBC (Rs.250/- for SC, ST and Category -1), this fee amount shall be paid at the respective Practical Test Centre on the day of verification of documents in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Comptroller of the respective University as indicated in the table.

2.    Students belonging to the following districts (native districts) shall appear for practical test in the Centers mentioned against the districts.

3.  No request for change of centre is permitted.

4.Agriculturist and other related certificates of the candidates claiming the seat under Agriculturist Quota will be verified from 4-5-2015 to 12-5-2015 during office hours (9.00 am to 3.30 pm) in the following respective centers only.

5.  Practical test will be conducted at all the canters on the same day on 16-5-2015.

6.  Candidate should appear for the practical test in the SAME centre where the documents are verified. Demand Draft should be dated from 01.05.2015 to 12.05.2015.

7.  Candidates without verification of the documents during the prescribed date will not be permitted to appear for practical test.
