The
first round of COMEDK counselling has commenced on 29th
June 2015. A perusal of the documents submitted for verification by some of the
candidates discloses the following deficiencies:
a) Submission
of photocopy of the marks card of 10th and 12th
standard issued by CBSE and ICSE on the pretext that their boards are yet to
issue original marks card.
b) Incomplete
marks card such as marks card without the candidate’s name / hall ticket number
etc. issued by the Karnataka State Pre-University Board.
c)
Non furnishing of demand draft with
TAT Number indicated thereon.
2.
It has been made clear in the Process
Document for Seat Selection and the check memo in this behalf published on
13.06.2015 and 24.06.2015 respectively as the list of original documents
required to be produced for seat selection. The non-production of original
documents or production of insufficient documentation as above will only lead
to disappointment to the candidates of not having an option to select a seat;
this will also delay the seat selection process itself as these candidates will
have to be made aware of the deficiencies at every stage thereby causing
inconvenience to other candidates.
3.
In the circumstances, the candidates
are advised once again to submit all the original documents required for seat
selection. If any Board has not issued the original certificate, the candidates
must submit a copy of the document attested by the Board itself with an
endorsement that the original is yet to be issued by it. Otherwise, without
proper documents in original, the candidates need not participate in the seat
selection process.
